713 Individual Psychology's use of Encouragement to Promote Wellness

This course takes a deeper look at Individual Psychology’s concepts of social interest, encouragement, and holism; how these constructs intersect with the mind, body, and spirit of the individual and/or an organization and relate to overall well-being. The use of encouragement in conflict resolution will be introduced. Through experiential methods of learning, students will gain increased knowledge and awareness of the significance of these concepts in their personal and professional relationships and how to make use of early recollections and Socratic questioning to identify mistaken beliefs and private logic, assisting them self and others to work out their own solutions to problems in promotion of wellness in these contexts.
